 King Street Associates is a small, woman-owned business founded and operated by coach and organization development consultant Emily King, M.S. 

Emily is nationally-recognized for her innovations in adult learning and development. With 10 of her 15 years in OD spent in the domain of professional services,  she brings a consulting approach to client engagements. This means she focuses on understanding the right problem and crafting the best solution rather than viewing all organizational issues through one preferred lense, such as HR or training. Her success is largely rooted in an ability to look at a business challenge or opportunity from a strategic, cross-functional perspective. This leads to lasting, high impact change for organizations and individuals.

Emily has a Masters of Science in organization development from Johns Hopkins University, where she wrote her thesis on the transition from military to civilian leadership. She received formal education and certification in leadership coaching from Georgetown University, and holds a host of professional certifications, including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), emotional intelligence (EQ) assessments,  and others. 

Emily is the principal consultant in her firm because she loves doing the work, not just managing it. The "associates" in King Street Associates are a global network of rigorously vetted, highly qualified coaches and consultants representing a spectrum of industries and educational backgrounds.  King Street Associates include MBAs, retired executives, alumni of top tier management consultancies, and educators.
